I’m Lucy Picksley aka Sew Pretty Sew Mindful. I'm a sewing pattern designer based in Gainsborough, a small Market Town in rural Lincolnshire, UK where I live with my husband, two boys, and four pampered cats.

 

I have been teaching people to sew since 2018 but started my journey designing bag patterns in 2022.

I was soon talent spotted and invited onto the screens of Sewing Street tv with my debut appearance in May 2022. 

 

Since then I have gone on to design over 

twenty sewing patterns with some of those including multiple design options. I have also designed my first collection for Craft Cotton Company fulfilling a childhood dream.

 

I like to focus on the mindful aspects of sewing, encouraging others to find the confidence to embrace their own sewing journeys.
