Layers of Stars

In this workshop you will learn all the techniques to create the star block used to make the Layers of Stars Quilt or the Layers of Stars Over-sized Rice Bag. In fact once you master the main block you're all set to finish it as you like! Perhaps a tote, or a cushion, a project bag or something else entirely?! the pattern is released on Sewing Street TV on 10th August, patterns will be available through al the usual channels.

To make the quilt you will need:

16 fat eighths & 2.5m of background fabric.

For the rice bag you will need:

A fat quarter bundle & 1.5m background fabric. This option also needs 1m of double sided fusible foam.

Please Bring Along:

• Thread & Bobbin

• Basic haberdashery kit

• Lunch (Supermarket 2min walk)

Cancellation Policy

There is no right for you to cancel the Contract & no refunds will be given on deposit or full payments for a Workshop, although if you are unable to attend a Workshop, please let us know as soon as possible. You may send someone in your place if you prefer. Please let us know their contact details (name, address, email address & telephone number) in advance so that arrangements may be made where possible and confirmation details can be passed on. If you are booking a Course of Workshops there is no entitlement to replace or catch up on missed sessions within that course at a later date.
