Hygge Haven - A Quilters Companion

This booklet has been prepared for you as a guide to choosing your own pattern layouts based on a simple set of principles. With each layout you will produce something quite beautiful that will fill your heart and home with lots of Hygge.
 
Hygge is pronounced “HOO-gah" or "HEW-gah" (with the 'ew' sound like in 'few')" and is translated to mean a warm, cozy hug—not as a literal meaning but as a sense of feeling.
 
A booklet designed to support you, as someone new to quilting to understand the basic principles of working with Half square triangles (HST), how to make them, placing to make a design and working with complimentary fabrics.  
 
Many suggested layouts have been included in this extensive booklet. 
 
Materials:
6 x long quarters of cotton fabric (contrast)
1.5 metres cotton fabric (background)
½ metre cotton fabric (binding)
