This bag was designed with sand and water in mind and the need to be able to stow away sun cream, wallets, keys and phones when stretched out by the water With pockets a plenty there’s somewhere to keep all those bits and pieces and with waterproof fabrics incorporated it won’t matter if you get a little wet at the beach!
The Stratford bag is as easy or as complicated as you want it to be. If it’s your first make then you might prefer to make the bag without the pocket until you feel confident with zips and multiple pattern pieces. Otherwise raid your fabric stash and personalise the panels and pockets as much as you fancy!
MATERIALS NEEDED
Fabric One (Waterproof) 20” (½ metre)
Fabric Two (Patterned) 20” (½ metre)
Fabric Three (non directional 20” (½ metre) Waterproof)
Chunky Rope 80” (2 metres)
Strap Fastening - (Rectangle x1 / D or Circular Ring to accommodate the rope1” Slider)
Zipper 8” x1
Kam Snap or equivalent for the Popper Pocket x1
